There are four main types of conditionals in English that you need to know: 1. Zero Conditional: Used for facts or things that are always true. The structure is: - If + present simple, present simple. - Example: If you heat water to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils. 2. First Conditional: Used for real and possible situations in the future. The structure is: - If + present simple, will + base verb. - Example: If it rains tomorrow, I will stay home. 3. Second Conditional: Used for unreal or hypothetical situations in the present or future. The structure is: - If + past simple, would + base verb. - Example: If I had a million dollars, I would travel the world. 4. Third Conditional: Used for unreal situations in the past or regrets.
