Linking verbs are special verbs that connect the subject of a sentence to more information about that subject. The most common linking verbs are "be," "seem," "look," and "feel." 1. Be - Example: "She is happy." 2. Seem - Example: "He seems tired." 3. Look - Example: "The cake looks delicious." 4. Feel - Example: "I feel excited." You can make negative sentences with them using 'don't' and 'doesn't). - Examples: "The jumper doesn't feel comfortable". "You don't look happy". Conditions for using linking verbs: - After linking verbs, we use words like adjectives, nouns, or pronouns to tell more about the subject. - Linking verbs don't show action.
