1

Study the grammar rule.

To make the present continuous tense, you use the verb "to be" (am, is, are) + the verb ending in -ing. Affirmative: - Subject + am/is/are + verb(-ing) - Example: I am eating. (I'm eating.) Negative: - Subject + am/is/are + not + verb(-ing) - Example: I am not eating. Conditions: 1. Use "am" with the subject "I." - Example: I am running. 2. Use "is" with singular third-person subjects (he, she, it). - Example: She is studying. 3. Use "are" with plural subjects and "you." - Example: They are working. You are watching. Note: "Am not" is contracted to "I'm not", "is not" becomes "isn't", and "are not" becomes "aren't".
