Structure:

cause + so + result

Examples:

2. because (reason)

Use because to explain why something happens.

Structure:

result + because + subject + verb

Examples:

I went to bed early because I was tired.

We stayed inside because it was raining.

She is happy because she got a new bike.


3. because of (reason + noun)

Use because of before a noun, not a full sentence.

Structure:

because of + noun

Examples:

We stayed inside because of the rain.

The game was cancelled because of the weather.
