How To Use the Extract Collocations Tool

Add a Text

Begin by typing or pasting your sentences or text into the designated box. This can be any passage or set of sentences you want to extract collocations from.

Select Vocabulary

Once your text is in the tool, highlight words to select the vocabulary you want to create collocations with.

Extract Collocations

Click 'Do the magic!' to create a list of word combinations that frequently appear together, based on the vocabulary you selected. This list will help your students identify useful language patterns and improve their understanding of the vocabulary.

Keep Practicing

Use the collocations list to create deeper understandings of the vocabulary. In other Twee tools, enter the list of collocations you've generated to create engaging exercises such as word-definition matching activities, or creating sentences with the vocabulary.
