How to Use the Word-Translation Matching Tool

01

Add Your Vocabulary

To create a Word-Translation Matching task using Twee, start by adding the vocabulary words or phrases you want to use for the task. You can either type them or paste them directly into the box.

02

Choose the Translation Language

Next, choose the language you want the words to be translated to. There are more than 15 different languages to choose from — perfect for multilingual learners.

03

Make the Matching Task

Once you’ve entered your vocabulary and selected the translation language, click "Do the magic!" and Twee will generate your word-translation matching task in seconds.

04

Mix It Up (or Not)

You can then choose whether to leave the results mixed up, which will challenge students to match the words with their translations, or unmix them to create a glossary, ideal for introducing new vocabulary before your lesson.

05

Practice the Words

With your task ready, you now have an easy and fun way to help your students learn vocabulary. If you'd like to continue practicing vocabulary, just select the next tool you'd like to use from the "Create using the words" options below the task. For example, you can generate sentences using the same vocabulary or develop a dialogue that includes the words in context.
