Read the rule to learn how to ask questions in the present simple.

Questions in the present simple are used to ask about habits, routines, facts, and general information. They include yes/no questions and wh-questions. Yes/no questions expect a simple "yes" or "no" answer, while wh-questions ask for more information. 1. Yes/No Questions These questions ask if something is true or not. They start with a helping verb (do/does) for most subjects. Use "do" for I, you, we, they. Use "does" for he, she, it. Examples: Do you like pizza? Does she play tennis? Do they go to school? 2. Wh-Questions These questions start with a question word (who, what, where, when, why, how) and ask for specific information. Examples: What do you do on weekends? 3. Questions with "be" (am, is, are) For questions with the verb "to be," you do not use "do" or "does." Switch the order of the "to be" verb and the subject. Example: You are happy -> Are you happy? (not Do you are happy?)
